PT. Baja Perkasa Sentosa (BPS) is a newly established steel mill in 2021, revitalizing an old steel mill that shut down in 2015.
We have made significant improvements to the production facility, bringing in the best-in-class new machinery and system from China which allow us to increase the production quantity as well as quality to meet industry standard requirement for reinforced steel bars.
The restoration project began in mid-March of 2020. As a newly established company in the midst of the pandemic, we experienced it firsthand, the challenges and obstacles of doing business in an economic downturn but we managed to pull through and we are ready to supply our steel product to top companies and distributors in Indonesia as construction and infrastructure projects look to regain its momentum and bounce back from a tough year.
The shareholders that have come together to make this project happen have many years of experience in the steel industry from production to marketing. Putting together our knowledge, we are confident in our ability to run a steel mill and deliver a great product that customer can rely on for their construction needs.
